What We Do

  • Carry out Speech, Language and Cognitive-Communication treatment programs under the supervision of a Registered Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Teach and demonstrate use of augmentative and alternative communication strategies and/or techniques to client's  and their caregivers/school teams to help them communicate to the best of their abilities independently
  • Work as a team with all the client's service providers to ensure best improvements
  • Mentor, train and model strategies for success to caregivers/school team
  • Spark the client's best life!!

How We Help

CDAs provide consistent weekly Speech, Language and Cognitive-Communication treatment when a Speech Language Pathologist is not available within the client’s community or school. They provide support in delivery of the communication goals as designated by the SLP.


CDAs also support care providers/school teams by providing guidance and modelling strategies for success. They work as part of an integrated team approach which allows for the most success achievable by the student in all aspects of their life.

Our SLP team has over 25 years of combined experience working with clients who have suffered speech, language, cognitive and social difficulties. They pride themselves on listening to the needs of our clients and families and working towards increasing functional outcomes.
